The difference between micro-level theories and macro-level theories is their definition themselves. Micro-level theories argon based on the individual, while macro-level theories are based on the environ troopspowert around that individual. Micro-level theories focus on the persons personal life, including interpersonal communications and life span (childhood), while macro-level theories focus on the environmental and societal influences.
Macro-theory identifies broad factors, such as familys tolerance of violence, age, family issues, social structure (classification), and even the theory of developing comes in according to the text. Macro-theories also take into account the stereotype that men dominate women, thus our culture is generally powered by men.

The text offers a case history on varlet 39 and I chose to use this reading as an example. I think I read it in terms of micro-theory, because it tells in the beginning of her father being abusive. Then she marries an abusive man. How incessantly, the man she married showed no signs of abusive nature until after they were married. I dont feel she married a man like her father. I feel she married the complete opposite, or so she thought, and ended up with worse than her father ever was. I feel her childhood pushed her futher into Miguels arms though, because she cherished the opposite of her father. She wanted to feel loved and protected. Miguel offered that to her, until after their vows.
