When Huck gets a bad hint (in the superstitious sense), he signs all his money over to appraise Thatcher. Shortly after, his drunk and abusive father shows up tail end in town. Until immediately, everyone thought Hucks dad was dead, notwithstanding that is sadly not the case. Anyway, he demands money from Huck, whos all, Oh, man, likewise bad you didnt get here yesterday. Enraged and abusive, papa threatens Huck for a bit and finally kidnaps him so they muckle both live in filthy poverty by the river.
Huck shortly gets fed up, fakes his own death, and leaves to go deal out on the nearby capital of Mississippis Island.
