Values Portrayed on Reality Television Programs
In todays world all you see on television is the lives of others. This is called humans television which is television programs that present real people in live, though often deliberately manufactured, situations and monitor their emotions and behavior (Encarta, 2009). around creation shows can be talk shows, game shows and shows nearly celebrities and their families. There ar different values portrayed on domain shows, some good and some bad. All reality shows doesnt come off in a devastating veto energy, there are some that sends out decreed energy. It is the media and producers that sometimes portray reality television in a negative way, especially with the minorities who participate in these reality shows. In reality shows approximately African-American wowork force are portrayed as not classy, loud, un-educated and etc. Most African American men are portrayed as un-educated, violent, and considered criminals. There are reality shows out that involve strong, educated, well mannered people who are portraying themselves in a positive way and not what the media is trying to make them.
Even though people stupefy it entertaining, the media should stop portraying black women in a negative way.
Some reality shows that portray black women in a negative way are Basketball Wives, Flavor of Love, braggy Girls Club, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Most of these shows consist of women fighting, cussing, and starting adversity amongst severally other. It seems like producers brought in these women who will make fools of themselves. These shows have do little to show black women in the proper light, they have basically prepared a guide of melodrama. In most reality shows you see minorities unable to agree with one some other without getting in each others face ready to fight.
