The Animals, a film by Mr. Gino M. Santos, is a finalist entry to the 2012 CINEMALAYA autarkical Film Festival and Competition. The story revolves around high instill teenagers coming from upper middle class families and their standard lifestyle and environment. It strongly gives emphasis on how these so-c tout ensembleed privileged kids shed their money, time and lives and what usually high school students today adopt with. It has been strongly shown through the characters of Jake, Trina and Alex. Jake is your typical easygoing popular mysterious kid. While Alex re pictures those who try to fit in. What I do like about this concept is how it clearly depicts that having it all is not an indicator of a good life. And what I like about the film is that because of its great cinemtography and perfect casting that unfeignedly made it seem real, it has evoked my emotions.
