Becoming pregnant at a young age leads to a greater possibility that the economical issues of today testament soon surround the lives of these young girls and their infants. Based on the United States Department of Health, both twenty-six seconds a teenager fixs pregnant, every fifty seconds an adolescent gives birth, and every hour fifty-six nestlingren are born into the arms of a teenage mother. Its self-evident that many teens are having premarital sex and not victorious the precautions needed to prevent pregnancy. When pregnancy does occur in teenagers in that location are multiple consequences, major decisions that hire to be made, and come along responsibilities that a teenage girl a great deal cant handle. In todays world, pregnancy has almost become some type of current day fashion show. It is often forgotten by these young mothers that they are carrying a gracious life and that their futures are going to be changed forever, and when this realization hits them, its already too late to turn around. There wee-wee been multiple studies entere in regards to teenage pregnancy, and most of them amaze turned out to be a harsh reality.

Its been proven that girls who have children at a young age have fewer life opportunities and higher rates of psychosocial disadvantage, including leaving school early, educational underachievement, prolonged welfare dependence, decreased marital opportunities, less efficient and more punitive parenting, maternal depression, and greater exposure to ally violence (Woodward, p1171). Many teenage girls, who become pregnant in high school, or even in college, find it unworkable to finish their school work and raise a child at the same time.
