These periods keep back the greatest works that the world has ever seen by many of the most genus authors. The Bronte sisters, Alexander Pope, William Shakespeare, and John Milton are just close to of the most amazing writers of all time. Geoffrey Chaucer is among this list of great authors. In my opinion, one of the best pieces of British literature ever created is The Canterbury Tales. It is considered by many to be a literary masterpiece. I candidly was always interested in the book because of the tales that J.K. Rowling used to quicken parts of the Harry Potter series. Having read some of The Tales in high school, I was intrigued with reading further into the tale of the 29 pilgrims and the man who created them.
