The united states government and Japans government are in many ways similar; yet different as well. In the United states we have a President who have to be a natural born citizen and at least 35 years of age. They also have to have lived in the united states for at least fourteen years. They serve a four year term, and is the commander-in-chief of the army and navy. In Japan their leaders are called Emperors , he is the head of the imperial family. He does non have any political power. Although in the united states we do not go by the birth of a son or daughter to continue the role as president, in Japan it goes by the Imperial family as it would with say a kings family.
