Project #2: palingenesis a Play
My professional play review is based on the Broadway melodious WICKED. Of the many live performances I have been competent to see; by far this is my favorite. I saw this musical comedy on May 23, 2012 at the Gershwin Theatre in Manhattan.
The shaft in cheek the landing field is created to draw your eyes to focus on the stage, there is a dragon hanging from the ceiling, what seems to be ironic branches ar placed on both sides of the stage flood tide out from the floor all the way to the ceiling, the stage is modify with different size and shapes of mechanical wheels wish those from a goliath clock, the front part of the stage is also shaped like mechanical wheels and lights were placed everywhere. The way it is design it makes it look scary. The theatre is very large, it can hold over 2,000 people at a given time. Before the show began there was a lot of commotion, excitement, people were anxious for the show to begin. The theatre is a proscenium space with the stage in the center, seats are place in front of the stage from side to side and on the second level are seats as well.
