Abstract
Nowadays, improving the quality of products, reducing cost and meeting customers requirements are necessary to
shorten the time of unused product development(NPD). NPD is the term used to describe the complete functioning of
bringing a new product to market and abstract design process(CDP) is at its early stage and has mostly changed
from motionless respond to aggressive one. In this way, this study proposes a practical method for CDP in NPD through
three phases as Converting customers requirements to product specifications, Generating and Selecting of concepts
and examen and Finalizing the concepts by using some different management-engineering techniques. At first, this
topic tries to prioritize customers requirements related to product by AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and convert
them to engineering parameters of TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) in swan to define the inventive
principals. Next, based on QFD (Quality Function Deployment), weight value of inventive principals will be
measured. Finally, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) can break down the weight values and reduce the
sequential risk and last-place conceptual design will be generated.
At the end, a medical glasses is used as a reason study of
innovative design to validate the method and relieve how the strategies of this research for CDP.
