Perfection is not something that is achieved easily. Adolf Hitler, an evil small-arm with a twisted perspective of how the world should be, eyeshot he would be able to achieve perfection. Hitler created the idea of the gilt-edged Aryan Race, a people of fair coloring and blue devil eyes. Jewish people were certainly not included in Hitlers idea of perfect. The Holocaust was a four-year atrocity that claimed the lives of 6 million people. Faith can make many things in lifespan easier, such as meeting a goal or making it through difficult times. To survive through a place where death was all around them, these people had to allow tremendous faith. Elie Wiesel, author of Night, even writes that though he had his doubts at times, his faith was a big part of his survival. Elie was definitely put through many traumatic events in his younger years. At 15 he was torn apart from his family and sent to a death camp, Auschwitz. He did nothing amiss(p) except believe in the God of his choice. When he start got the concentration camp, he was shocked. Wiesel and other Holocaust survivors often call for said that in their minds it could not have been real. It was during this time, when it first sank in that this was his new life, Elie doubted his God. However, he never completely let go of his faith and he knew that he would be something better. He wasnt sure if he would survive or not entirely he knew if he did a difference would be made.
