My grandpa was a large man, he stood 62 and weighed somewhat 250 pounds. He severed in the army when he was in his twenties so a clean cut crew cut stuck with him until the day he died. He was warm, loving, firm and straightforward. I forever knew exactly where I stood with him. He carried himself with great confidence and did not take disrespect from anyone. More than anything he taught me how to treat mickle because when he was around I did not get forward with hardly anything. I now understand and Im grateful because I would not have wanted to be raised any other way.
Like it was yesterday I remember all the things we would do together. He was a school teacher so during the summer he would be home with us all day.
There was no safer place than to

Even though I was young, my grandpa made me feel like I was a special part in it all.
